Thredbo Extends Season!!

Thredbo is extending its season until October 10!! They are saying conditions permitting but there is heaps of snow so it looks like another week of Spring skiing at least....Good on you Thredbo!!

Spring and the Snowy Ride

Final wind down of the OFFICIAL snow season, someone forgot to tell mother nature. There is still some great snow up in the main range, some great cross country trips to be had and it is great in the mountains in Spring.

Things to watch out for heading our way this spring, Snowy Ride, what a great cause to get behind and support with funds going to Childhood Cancer Research. The organisers and riders do a fantastic job every year bringing over 2000 riders to the Snowy Mountains, with this being the 9th year.

Support it, come along have fun, plan for a great time and a great weekend.

Spring Has Sprung and the sking is Great!!

Had a ski at Thredbo today and it was great spring skiing!! And the best was... there is nobody here.

Morning between 9am and 1:30 ish was great especially in or need the trees around lunch as it hadn't soften as much as in the middle of the run...

Bring your wide skis suggest 90-95 Ski Logic's??

More Snow Coming!!

Don't look now but just when you thought the season was winding down it's going to snow again!!
Some reports say 30cm by next Wednesday 15th.. Next weekend looks like being a good one.......

Rain but still lot's of Snow

Well, there's no getting around it we have have some serious rain!!!

 But with the August snow falls we had, the snow cover is in surprising condition. This is thanks to the groomers who have managed to compact, push and pull the snow so as we have a great spring....

It is still worth considering a trip as September can be great skiing with clear skies and still cold nights..

Also check out some new skis called Ski Logic..They are hand made and the ride is great. Tried a 91 under foot which is amazing!! Can't wait to try the 140 under foot!!!!(yeah right).
